College GameDay will be in Columbus tomorrow for Ohio State-Oklahoma, but if social media had its way, it would be in Clemson for their matchup with Auburn.
These two schools have been in an absolute WAR all week for who can come up with the best/most clever/most brutal banners they can think of and they haven’t disappointed. It’s been a gradual uptick all week on who can take it the furthest. We’ve got drugs involved, we’ve got Toomer’s corner involved, even devastating hurricanes are getting a shout out. It just goes to show how much the south cares about college football. Every day I’m seeing one banner top the next.
Meanwhile, Ohio State and Oklahoma have given us squat. Exactly zero content has come out of those two towns this week in what’s supposed to be the best game of the weekend. Sad.
