Surely by now, you’ve seen this clip of SEC reporter Cole Cubelic showing now regard for this ref’s personal space while doing a live sideline report. It went crazy viral last night after the ref turned around and gave Cole the death stare to end all death stares. Seriously, Cole should be thanking God this morning that my man didn’t snap both of his legs mafia-style. That’s the kind of look he got behind his back.
So now we have to wonder if anything actually came about with this. Did the ref confront him? Was he legitimately pissed? Well, to my displeasure, it turns out everything was cool between them.
So what happened after the cameras were off? You guys kiss and makeup? Bro-hug it out? Or still not speaking?

I went to their locker at halftime to apologize. He was great. No issues. https://t.co/2YP3IpgeAY

Would’ve been amazing to have a ref-reporter fight on the opening night of college football.
After one night, @colecubelic is in the lead for my weekly avatar. pic.twitter.com/H6wnB65PSL
