Les Miles made his ESPN debut last night with a fresh new hair dye job and was ready to talk some football on the ESPNNews coaches roundtable broadcast. You’ve seen ESPN do this before. They throw a bunch of former coaches in a room with some TVs and just let them go. You never know where the conversation will go.
Overall, Les seemed like he did a pretty decent job. I flipped back and forth a little bit and he made some nice points. Although, there was no chance that these guys’ bladders were going to be able to handle a 3.5 hour football game plus a post-game show. The prostate situation in that room is sub-par, to say the least. Les ended up being the first to tap out. By the end of the show, he said screw it and got up to take a leak right in the middle of the broadcast.
And I say we’re off to a good start for the future Lee Corso replacement on College GameDay.
