As you’ve probably heard, the blockbuster Kyrie Irving-Isaiah Thomas trade is still on hold as the Cavaliers try to steal more assets from the Celtics because of concerns over IT’s hip. No doubt this trade will eventually go through, this is just some gamesmanship on the part of the Cavs — you already know they’re not relinquishing that Brooklyn pick with LeBron bailing next offseason.
Cavs fans should just assume Isaiah will be getting clutch buckets for them next season. I mean, he’s already doing that on NBA 2K17. Just look at these screenshots of IT torching the virtual Celtics last night:
