You guys already know the deal with Washington quarterback Jake Browning — dude threw for 3,430 yards and 43 touchdowns and led the Huskies to a 9-1 record last season. Sure, Washington was thumped by Alabama in the Peach Bowl, but he was grinding through a shoulder injury that ended up requiring surgery.
NFL.com recognized Browning’s grit and ranked the junior as the No. 9 quarterback they’d want with the game on the line, for what it’s worth.
