Brewers fans are undoubtedly sweating bullets right now as their lead in the NL Central continues to fade in light of their 3-7 start to the second half of the season. There’s really not much we can do to soothe concerns about the Cubs taking inevitably taking over the division again, but we can present retail therapy in the form of Robin Yount’s 1984 Chevrolet Corvette.
According to the current owner, the Hall of Famer was the original owner of this Corvette, which hasn’t been used much the past 20 years. Though, it’s probably worth noting the black paint apparently had to be retouched because of fading.
Details from the eBay listing:
this is one very well maintained 1984 corvette. original owner was hall of fame baseball player Robin Yount. runs and drives nice but has had very little use over the last 20 years as it has been in a collection. interior is in great shape. tire are about 80% tread left. this is a AZ car! has the hard to find clear glass sun roof. has hard to find 4+3 Manual transmission, just had new clutch install complete with TO bearing and flywheel ($2300) only about 130 miles on it. low mile 65k! engine is all factory and always serviced. this is the only year C4 with the crossfire injected motor and is becoming collectible. paint is shiny and has be retouched as the az sun had caused some fading.
