Remember Ole Miss quarterback Bo Wallace? I do. He was the quarterback who beat Alabama in Oxford back in 2014 when Bama was No. 3 and looked to be unbeatable. I was there that day with my dad watching as Ole Miss fans ripped down the goal posts and carried them to The Grove and showed them off at the bandshell. It was quite a night. That was the game where Katy Perry showed up to pick games and play with corndogs.
Anyway, Bo Wallace was arrested for DUI Saturday night…and his current employer has an explanation for all this.
East Mississippi Community College quarterbacks coach and former Ole Miss quarterback Bo Wallace was arrested and charged with a DUI Saturday night.
The arrest took place at 11:06 p.m. in Clay County and was made by the West Point police department. Wallace was released at 1:16 a.m. Sunday after he was bonded out. Bond was set at $813.50, according to the Clay County Sheriff’s office.
According to EMCC coach Buddy Stephens, Wallace took prescription medication during the day, fell asleep at the wheel while driving after working a youth camp, got into a wreck and was arrested after the accident.
Ahhh, the Tiger Woods Defense. I like it.
