This is the first summer Brett Lawrie hasn’t been on an MLB roster since 2011. Before that, he was on minor league rosters making his way up to the bigs. So we can assume this is the first summer Brett has had off from baseball in a long time.
Obviously, that’s going to lead to some boredom. You basically just have to wait around until an injury or something similar happens and a team decides to call you.
