Mets Transfer Noah Syndergaard to 60-Day DL… We Think

The New York Mets are such a raging dumpster fire right now that they can’t even transfer guys on the disabled list without creating drama. This morning should be all about Matt Harvey’s mystery three-game suspension (apparently not dildo related), but the team created unnecessary secondary waves in regards to Noah Syndergaard.

As you can see below, moving Thor, who won’t be able to throw for six weeks, from the 10-day to 60-day DL in order to call up emergency starter Adam Wilk seems like a pretty cut and dry move:

To make room for Adam Wilk, the Mets have transferred Noah Syndergaard to the 60-day disabled list.

But it’s the Mets, so shit hit the fan and became more complicated than it needed to be:

The Mets now say that they are not transferring Noah Syndergaard to the 60-day DL. Harvey's suspension clears space for Wilk.

Now the Mets say never mind to the never mind, Noah Syndergaard IS on the 60-day DL! WHAT IS HAPPENING.

So excited to have like five-six more months of this dysfunction.
