The Cubs dominate the MLB’s most popular jersey list
This isn’t surprising, but the Chicago Cubs sold a ton of jerseys this past year. From MLB.com: The Cubs have four of the top five on a list that was jointly announced by MLB and the MLB Players Association, an unprecedented rule in the eight years of tracking. Kris Bryant andAnthony Rizzo, who combined for the 5-3 putout that made history after a 108-year World Series drought, rank first and second overall, followed in order by Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw, Cubs second baseman Javier Baez and Cubs left fielder Kyle Schwarber.
I was interested in seeing the rest of this list and there’s 10 players under 25 selling a lot of jerseys. Hopefully, that means the MLB can start to figure out a way to market these guys better and actually create some national buzz, because there’s absolutely zero national intrigue in baseball right now.
