Does anyone really need a tailgate bus for Iowa State football? The answer, of course, is no. The Cyclones have logged seven straight losing seasons and haven’t finished above .500 since 2009 — there are much more interesting ways to burn money.
But if you’re a Cyclones diehard who believes a breakout season under Matt Campbell is on the horizon, then maybe you might want to go all in on the ISU tailgate bus above. It has a pretty sick paint job, a roof deck and ample seating for your party. The downside? It doesn’t run.
Details from the Craigslist ad:
Cyclone tailgate bus. It has a great paint job, heavy metal roof rack, back rack, finished inside, and a 2000$ Kelderman air ride which makes a smooth ride. Cycobus needs a good diesel mechanic. It is a Detroit diesel and doesn’t run. We have been told it needs a fuel pump but not sure. Great bus except for problem of needing engine work. 1900$ or best offer.
No idea how much a fuel pump will run you, but if you split the cost with fellow alums it shouldn’t be that bad. It’s not every day you see cool Cyclones graffiti art.
