Bears OL Kyle Long’s Selling His Chicago Starter House – $1,450,000

Chicago Bears offensive lineman Kyle Long no longer needs his wooded suburban Chicago Georgian-style house on 1.4 acres now that he upgraded to a 6,200 sq. ft. mansion in the same Chicago suburb.  The smaller 4,000 Kyle Long house can be yours for $1.45 million, which would pocket Long just $100,000.

Don’t worry for Kyle. He signed a $40 million deal in 2016 which included $30 million guaranteed.

From Kyle’s realtor:

Beautiful hardwood floors, 9′ ceilings, large first floor living, dining and family rooms for easy entertaining, newer cook’s kitchen with island, walk-in pantry and generous eating area. Library, inviting all-season sunroom with expansive views of the landscaped yard, and combination laundry/mud room finishes the main level. Newly remodeled master suite with hardwood, large walk-in shower, double vanity and lots of closet space. Other generously sized bedrooms also boast hardwood and freshly painted walls with great closets. The lower level is for all sports enthusiasts – wiring for 2 TV systems, new outstanding artisan crafted full service bar with custom backlighting, fireplace, exercise room or 5th bedroom w/closet and adjacent full bath. Massive storage rooms with partially finished space for your own private theater. Generator, 3 car garage, in a beautiful setting.

Let’s be honest here, the basement bar isn’t the best I’ve ever seen, but it’s still pretty nice and the room allows for plenty of open space for you and the boys to rage on a cold Sunday when Cutler throws another pick.

Other highlights of Kyle’s house:

• Trees…did you see all of the trees?

• 4 bedrooms, 4 baths

• Did you see the master shower? You could park a car in there

• Whole Foods is 4 miles away

• 35 miles to Soldier Field

Mortgage: You’re looking at about $6,000 before all the extras
