How do I know baseball IS BACK? We have our very first outfielder running through a left field fence while going for a liner to the corner and then the outfielder runs through a fence, the ball stays in play and leads to a Southern Illinois inside-the-park grand slam…of the year.
And this is on Stetson’s home field. That’s the Hatters’ left fielder. Of course he figures the fence is locked and he’s not going to barrel through. Wrong.
SIU went on to an 8-4 win and sweep an NCAA tournament team on the road. SIU’s campus is gonna be LIT over this one.
