Just thinking out loud here, but a head coach smashing a water cup onto the court is grounds for a technical foul, right?
I only ask because Louisville’s Rick Pitino (surprise!) momentarily lost his shit last night and blasted a water cup after one of his players committed a horrible foul late in overtime. Fortunately Bob Valvano saw that outburst coming and avoided becoming a victim:
