Still reeling from their sexual assault scandal and Art Briles’ leaked text messages, the Baylor football program stayed hot this week by firing new strength coach, Brandon Washington, after he was recently arrested for soliciting a prostitute.
According to The Waco Tribune, Washington was popped by police this past Saturday after trying to meet up with a prostitute at a hotel:
McLennan County Sheriff Parnell McNamara said Brandon Washington, 33, was arrested by deputies at a local hotel on a solicitation of prostitution charge, a Class B misdemeanor.
Deputies arrested Washington shortly after 12 a.m. Saturday after Washington arrived at the hotel to meet a prostitute, McNamara said.
Washington was released from the McLennan County Jail on Saturday after posting $1,000 bond.
You really can’t help but laugh here. Washington recently left his gig at Temple to follow head coach Matt Rhule over to Waco.
Baylor staffers might want to lay low for a decade or so until this wave of bad publicity blows over.
