Now, before you guys start busting my balls about asking Heather Fleck (@hfleck10) — PJ’s wife — softball questions after sliding into her DMs, you have to understand that there’s always this feeling out process when I head up into the DMs. I’m not just going to come out with guns blazing asking Heather about PJ’s prowess when he won her heart.
The Flecks are going to be around college football a long time so this is the start of a friendly relationship. I’ve had my moments where I’m not fully onboard with the the Human Quote Generator, especially because he was coaching Western and I’m a Toledo guy.
Let’s just be honest here, I was hoping his boat would go down in the middle of Lake Michigan. Of course he would’ve been rescued and lost the MAC West to Toledo. But…the boat never sank and PJ got to the Cotton Bowl. Now he gets the Minnesota job where a 9-3 season will result in a street being named after him. 10-2 and a trip to a New Year’s Six game and he’ll get a statue.
