Purdue football was quite terrible yet again in 2016, finishing with a lowly 3-9 record. However, there was one lone bright spot to their season: head coach Darrell Hazel was canned back in October after starting the season 3-3. The Boilermakers were 9-33 in three-plus seasons under Hazel, so yeah… the firing was well deserved.
Now Purdue fans can look forward to a fresh start in the Jeff Brohm era. Hell, maybe even jump the gun and lead the bandwagon with the Purdue tailgate box truck above. It looks a little creepy, but it throws some shade at a number of Big 10 rivals.
