Rivalry week is over, Championship week is here
Only one more week of college football to determine the final four playoff spots and the committee has themselves in a situation here. Alabama is in even if they lose the SEC Championship. You would assume Ohio State is in as the #2 team beating the #3 team. If Clemson wins the ACC Championship, they’re in. Now here is where the committee has to make a decision and might have to leave a conference champ out. If Penn State wins the Big Ten championship, I think you have to put them in because of their head to head win over OSU. That means the Pac-12 champ is left out. But if Washington wins the Pac-12 championship, they’re sitting with one-loss opposed to Penn State’s 2 losses. The committee has really painted themselves into a corner here and it’s going to be exciting to see what happens.
Numbers from:
Jim Harbaugh has lost as many games (5) in two seasons at #Michigan as Urban Meyer has lost in 5 years at #OhioState
