Gary Payton II didn’t hear his name get called at the 2016 NBA Draft, but it looks like things are going relatively well for the Oregon State product.
He landed with the Houston Rockets and signed a three-year deal with them over the summer. And despite playing limited minutes through two preseason games, Payton’s already wowed fans in his attempts to make the final roster:

Glove Jr.’s also doing well for himself off the court — his girl, Casey Christa, has been in attendance supporting his push. Rockets mascot Clutch is already a fan:
