Purdue Dealing With Sinkhole on Football Field

As usual, Purdue football has been pretty underwhelming this season. They’re 2-2 and are coming off a 50-7 spanking at Maryland this past weekend — not exactly what you want.

And apparently the field at Ross-Ade Stadium isn’t immune to the dysfunction, as the school’s official Turf Twitter account documented that a broken waterline caused a massive sinkhole to develop in one of the end zones:

As you can see below, it’s quite the hole:

And it’s all thanks to this baby malfunctioning:
