Alabama linebacker Tim Williams was arrested outside of a Publix this morning after he was caught carrying a pistol without a proper permit.
Thank god a mistake worth learning from. 🙏🏽🤘🏾

According to Rivals, police were drawn to his Chevy Impala after smelling marijuana odor in the air — they found a Glock after conducting a search:
According to court records, UAPD officers approached Williams’ Chevrolet Impala in the parking lot at Publix on University Blvd. UAPD smelled marijuana and upon search of the vehicle found a clear plastic bag containing marijuana in the center console, according to court records, and a Glock 41 pistol under the driver’s seat.
The report adds Williams paid a $300 bond to get out of jail, but the gun infraction isn’t the highlight of this story — it’s the weed, which apparently belonged to an interesting character named Brandon Chicken (per Williams’ friend):

This will likely be the last time Chicken decides to let Williams and Dunaway hold his weed.
The Tuscaloosa News’ Stephanie Taylor has already found the mysterious Chicken
