Eddie Lacy Gets Three Inches Of His Dreads Cut Off

The big Green Bay Packers story in late August revolved around Eddie Lacy’s dreads after he 49ers linebacker Gerald Hodges tackled China-loving Lacy by the hair during a late preseason game. “It definitely hurts,” Lacy said after that game. “The first thought in my mind was a word I can’t really say.”
Lacy added after that game that his hair was “longer than I want it.” Flash-forward to this week, a bye for the Packers.
Eddie went in to the barber on Wednesday and got three inches of his dreads cut off. Was there another tackle by the dreads? There’s no complaining from Packers fans on Twitter that I can find. There are no videos of Eddie getting the hair-pulling treatment last week against the Lions.
The Giants will have three less inches of hair to grab onto when they face the Packers on October 9.
