We always complain about basketball players flopping, which some would call “using the rules to your advantage”. I’m not against flopping, if it’s in the right situation where you can benefit your team, go ahead I don’t care. But we never see it in football. Guess what, I think today we’ve witnessed our first ever flop in football history and boy was it spectacular.
That’s straight out of the flopping textbook written by Professor LeBron James. And not only was it a great flop, but he got the flag! That’s how you play to win and use the refs to get an advantage. I hope this doesn’t become a thing in football, though. Every now and then is fine, but when people are all of sudden getting tossed 15 yards down the field after the whistle was blown, we’re going to have a problem.
