Last Thursday, on the opening night of College Football and a holy day in this household, I made a joke about Lamar Jackson.

It was a pretty easy joke to make. You may remember Kenny Hill going bananas two years ago on the same opening Thursday and people already ready to give him the Heisman. Lamar Jackson had a similar game. He had 8 touchdowns, over 400 yards of total offense, but it was against Charlotte and they hung a 70 spot on them.
Now a week later, I think I’d like to take that joke back. As I’m writing this Jackson has 3 total TD’s and we aren’t even 5 minutes into the 1st quarter. Yes, I know it’s against Syracuse, but when you do stuff like this I don’t care.
