Bruce Miller torpedoed his NFL career this week after he was arrested for assaulting a 70-year-old man and his son at the Fisherman’s Wharf Marriott Hotel.
According to KTVU.com, Miller was drunk and trying to get into occupied rooms when he encountered the father and son — you know what happened next:
The neighboring guest, the couple’s 29-year-old son, told Miller that he had the wrong room.
That’s when Miller allegedly began attacking him. The man’s father came to his son’s aid, and was also attacked by Miller.
Sources say the 70-year-old man was punched in the face and suffered broken bones.
Miller was officially charged today, and it isn’t looking good with seven felonies (including assault with a cane) on his plate (via the Mercury News):
A count of assault with a deadly weapon, not a firearm (weapon alleged is a cane); one count of assault with force likely to cause great bodily injury; one count of inflicting injury on an elder or dependent adult likely to cause great bodily injury; one count of battery with serious bodily injury; two counts of criminal threats; and one count of assault with force likely to cause great bodily injury.
Miller is also charged with one count of misdemeanor battery.
Before his arrest, Miller was reportedly making a scene at Tommy’s Joynt trying to take other people’s food.
