A couple weeks ago I put out the word that we were looking for unpaid interns who were willing to do the legwork to prove that they were going to be the next great BC hire. About 50 or so applied, we took about 10 to start the year, about 4-5 have shown interest and two unpaid interns took over Snap this weekend during games.
Last night it was @Brandonashe123‘s turn to grab control during the Ole Miss-FSU game. I wasn’t sure what would happen. So many interns talk a big game and then they can’t perform when the bright lights start shining. Not Ashe. The guy worked the crowd, didn’t seem to have any issue talking to the ladies, got the bar crowd into the game and turned in somewhere around 3:50 of footage.
And he started off his performance with a Harambe sign and pounded a Coors Light pounder.
This is exactly what I want out of an intern — high motor and effort. Meanwhile, I had Danny the Intern bitching to ESPN that the game was taking too long.
Hey ESPN, this game started at 8pm and we aren't even half way through the fourth quarter. Let's pick it up.

That’s why it was so refreshing to get up this morning and see what Brandon turned in. I told Danny last night that there are Unpaid Interns who are coming after his job and they seem to want it by like Week 3 or 4.
