The big non-Michael Phelps news from Tuesday centered around the mystery of the Olympic diving pool, which happened to transition from blue to a very concerning green.
A spokesman told the AP the pool turned green because of a “proliferation of algae” but that it was still safe and would be blue again today.
However, if you check in on the pool scene you’ll see the diving pool still looks gross, and that the green looks to be spreading to the water polo venue:

To keep track: the diving hot tubs are murky, the diving pool is still green and now the water polo pool is in the early stages of going green.
