One of the biggest disappointments at the Rio Olympics has to be Spain’s men’s basketball team.
It doesn’t really make sense considering they’re loaded with NBA and Spanish stars, but they dropped a winnable game against Croatia over the weekend, and followed that up today with an embarrassing loss to Brazil.
Pau Gasol actually had a chance to put Spain up by three at the stripe late in the fourth quarter, but choked badly and bombed both attempts. Maybe this rowdy Brazilian fan who dropped the double bird on him got in his head:
