The argument that college athletes should be paid is a debate that has gone on and will go on until an actual rule is changed, but for now they stay the same. If you’re good at a sport, colleges give you money for an education, food, housing, and amenities, in exchange for you to perform in front of giant TV audiences broadcasted across the globe. Whether or not they should get more than that is a debate for another day.
For now let’s just talk about what these players do get. They get things like what LSU just got. Now I’m not saying I’m against athletes getting rewarded for the revenue they bring in, because I think they should, but also when they get these ridiculous locker rooms and weight facilities it’s easier for me to forget about that stuff.

Yes, this is a weight room where these guys go to work out to get better and eventually bring in more money for the program, not actual money in these guys’ pockets, but it’s still pretty sweet, no?
They might not be getting paid and the might be NCAA is the one of the worst organizations in the world, but you can’t deny these perks in college might be worth it.
