Joel Embiid is a fascinating character because somehow, without stepping one second on an NBA floor, he’s been able to keep himself relevant. It’s the power of social media. The guy has been injured for 2 straight years, has done nothing to prove he’s any good at basketball at the highest level, and we’re still writing blogs about him because he’s a goof ball on the internet.
Last night, Joel was at a nightclub called Hyde in LA and next thing we know he busts out an impromptu arm wrestling match against none other than Justin Bieber.

It’s too bad we didn’t actually get to see the end of the match, but I’ll go ahead and assume the 7 foot Cameroonian dominated the Biebs. Let’s just hope he didn’t break his foot in the process.
