I click on the Las Vegas Sun this morning and see that Las Vegas wants the Raiders stadium builders to consider the Cashman area where the Triple-A baseball team plays. This has to be one of the most insane ideas Vegas could’ve come up with. Ever been to Cashman Field? I have and it’s a complete shitshow neighborhood that would leave the football stadium in a 3rd class neighborhood surrounded by highways. Look, I’ve said it over and over…PUT THE RAIDERS STADIUM ON THE STRIP. Put it across the street from the old Sahara. Or further south on the Strip. You sit back and watch things explode. This doesn’t seem hard.
