The par-3 eighth hole bunker, a.k.a. the Postage Stamp Bunker, at Royal Troon is clearly not the place to be at the Open Championship.
American Jordan Spieth found out the hard during his second round, as his attempt to get out of the infamous bunked proved feeble:

After seeing that, you won’t be shocked to learn that Spieth double bogeyed the hole.
But he was far from the only one having issues at No. 8 — just ask Paul Howard:

On the plus side, Howard escaped with just a bogey.
