UFC sold for $4 billion
There’s been reports about the sale of the UFC for a month or two now, but nothing was ever official until now. Dana White confirmed it last night that the company is being sold to an investment group for $4 billion. It’s pretty crazy how far that sport has come in 16 years since the Fertitta brothers bought it in 2000. It’s gone from people calling it cage fighting and politicians wanting to ban it, to selling millions and millions of dollars worth of pay-per-views and basically putting boxing in its death bed.
