Everyone is desperate for some good news today, and thanks to Terry Collins we have it — Bartolo Colon has cracked the NL All-Star Team at the age of 43!
Bartolo Colon (!) has been added to the National League All-Star team. He's the eighth player age 43 or older to earn that honor. #Mets

Big Bart is replacing Madison Bumgarner, who won’t be able to pitch in the game because he’s starting on Sunday. With that fortunate scheduling conflict, Terry was able to go full-homer and select the people’s champion over someone like Max Scherzer.
Now Bart just needs to crack one more All-Star event — the home run derby!
