I can’t believe someone at SportsCenter thought they could sneak a blue checkmark onto a fake Mike Dunleavy Jr. account’s tweet to King James and they wouldn’t get caught. That takes some balls considering there are BC followers and others out there just waiting — because they’re single & don’t have anything else going on — to call them on their bullshit.
It’s one thing to run a parody account’s tweet — all of us screw up from time to time. It’s another to go the blue check photoshop route and then be proud of it.
Here we go.

Fake Mike has since updated his bio:
Mario was all over that tweet from the start:
@bustedcoverage Hey @espn, you might want to see if that account is real. Spoiler alert, it's not. pic.twitter.com/Q9zP4tgXR3

Ever had a feeling that someone at ESPN is making up bullshit to further ones ‘Insider’ career? Something tells me there aren’t too many checks and balances to that place. Need a tweet to compliment the free agency night? Ahh hell, just throw on a blue check, let’s make that tweet official.
Never forget how ESPN manufactured the Colin Kaepernick story.
