Get ready, you’re about to hear about the rough at Oakmont all week as we get set for the U.S. Open this week outside Pittsburgh at the famed country club. The key this week: start with driving accuracy.

You don’t want in this stuff that Justin Thomas dropped in to show you just how deep the rough is. Pure torture. This is the kind of stuff that will ruin Dustin Johnson during his annual meltdown round.

You know what else will be interesting about this U.S. Open? The lack of trees. There’s only one tree on the interior of the course. That means the pros get to deal with rough that needs a good trimming.
