Hope you didn’t like the Monte Carlo casino in Las Vegas…
…because MGM is about to renovate the place into another high-end hotel/casino and the room rates will skyrocket. It’ll now be known as Park MGM & NoMad Hotel. This all makes sense. MGM just opened the T-Mobile Arena and didn’t want some dump like the Monte Carlo sitting at the entrance to the arena where NHL teams will soon play. You’ll also have NCAA games in that arena. The Monte didn’t fit. Time to spend some MGM money and turn the place into another plush resort. And there’s word that Justin Timberlake or Gaga could have residency in the resort’s theater. Vegas just keeps rolling along.
