Former Rams Cheerleader Taylor Gorton Competing in Miss USA

We’re now up to three NFL cheerleaders competing in this weekend’s Miss USA 2016 Competition — Jessica Strohm (currently with the Pats), Haley Sowers (formerly of the Titans), and now Taylor Gorton (formerly of the Rams).

Taylor, 24, was a member of the Rams’ 2014 cheerleading squad, and made the roster despite having no prior dance experience. After that, she then became an Associate Reporter for the team.

Details from Taylor’s Miss Universe profile:

Upon graduating from Glenpool High School, she chose to combine the two and study broadcast journalism at Lindenwood University. Her college career opened many doors, including a spot as both a cheerleader and reporter in the NFL. During this time, she also took a six month internship at CBS News in New York City. The collision of these experiences, left Taylor with an increased desire to launch her concept-turned-company, Pink Door Productions last June. Her company sets out to close the female confidence gap by implementing savvy communication techniques and branding tactics.

Taylor also won Miss Teen Oklahoma 2008 and was a runner-up for Miss Oklahoma in 2014 and 2015 before finally winning this year.
