Technically National Wine Day has already come and gone, but Justin Verlander and Kate Upton got things rolling Thursday night before the Tigers’ weekend series in Oakland starts up.
As you can see below, they were all smiles as they dined with Tim Martin, one of the founders of luxury wine brand, Tusk:

Justin’s obviously smiling for good reason — dude continued his winning ways on the mound Tuesday by fanning 10 Phillies over eight innings of work. He’s been on an absolute tear since May 8.
