I always love looking at the yearly most Googled questions that Estately puts out. I especially love looking at the sports questions because they are always hilarious. However, this year’s sports questions were a little disappointing.

Americans have no shortage of questions, and the internet no shortage of answers. Whether looking for advice on buying a home, or determining the religious beliefs of politicians, Americans frequently turn to the world wide web for answers. Here at Estately, we were determined to find out what questions internet users in each state asked more frequently than others. What we uncovered was both inspiring and depressing.
Sports
Only two sports questions this year (I’m not counting Wrestlemania, that’s what they call entertainment).
Maryland: Is Joe Flacco elite?
Ah, the age-old question: Is Joe Flacco an elite quarterback? ESPN has been asking it for years and nobody knows the definitive answer. Sure, he won a Super Bowl, but was he a product of that good defense? Not even the state of Maryland, the state that has watched Joe throw thousands of passes, knows the answer. I don’t think we’ll ever find out.
North Dakota: When is the NFL draft?
This one is pretty obvious. When Philly traded for that 2nd overall pick, everyone in North Dakota rushed to their Gateway desktops to find out when the Bison savior was going to get drafted.

I live in Georgia and have never had this issue, however I hear covering them with band-aids before going on a run does wonders.
Texas: Where is the internet?
Hey Texas, by Googling this question you’re at the internet. Congrats, you made it.
Florida: Why does everyone hate Florida?
Because people who live there eat other people’s faces.
North Carolina: How to open a jar?
Righty tighty, lefty loosey.
California: Is Bernie Sanders vegan?
I think this might be the most California question ever asked.
Idaho: Is Ted Cruz the Zodiac killer?
I’m not going to say yes, but I’m also not going to say no.
Wyoming: What is Wyoming?
And with the upset, Wyoming tops Texas for the dumbest question of the year.
Arkansas: Who won the Civil War?
I think the people of Arkansas might have their own opinion on this one.
Iowa: Do penguins have knees?
This actually a great question. Fun fact of the day, penguins do in fact have knees, I just Googled it.
