The Toronto Raptors got their first win of the Eastern Conference Finals with an impressive 99-84 drubbing of the Cleveland Cavaliers on Saturday night. Toronto cut Cleveland’s series lead to 2-1 on big nights from Demar DeRozan and Bismack Biyombo. DeRozan lead all scorers with 32 points on 12-24 shooting from the floor, and Biyombo dominated in the paint. The 23-year-old center had 7 points, a franchise-record 26 rebounds, and 4 blocked shots.

For the Cavs, LeBron James continued to stuff the stat sheet, as he scored 24 points, grabbed 8 rebounds, dished out 5 assists, and snatched 2 steals. But while James brought his A-game, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love both laid eggs. Irving scored 13 points on a dreadful 3-19 shooting performance, and Love scored a measly 3 points on 1-9 shooting from the floor.
With Cleveland holding a 2-1 series lead, tonight’s Game 4 clash is pivotal. A Cavs victory would practically be a death sentence for the Raptors, as it’s extremely hard to envision them overcoming a 3-1 deficit with Games 5 and 7 taking place in Cleveland. But on the other hand, a Toronto win would even the series at 2-2 and turn the ECF into a best-of-three series.
