Throughout his entire career, Erick Aybar’s been a pretty productive shortstop — then he joined the tanking Atlanta Braves and everything’s gone to shit for him. To make things worse, Erick’s sad season hit another low Thursday afternoon when he was just trying to enjoy some chicken for lunch.
Because it’s the Braves, Erick somehow got a chicken bone lodged in his throat and had to be put under to get it removed:
