The big news out of Arizona this week is the Coyotes promoting assistant GM John Chayka to full-time GM. Chayka, 26, is an analytics maven and was hired as an assistant just last year before becoming the youngest GM in NHL history.
Oh, and his sister, Meghan, is also in the advanced hockey statistics game as she co-founded Stathletes (a Canadian hockey analytics company) with her brother.
