Tony Romo and his wife, Candice, are no stranger to the White House Correspondents’ Dinner — they’ve attended multiple times with this year being no exception.
But this time, it sounds like all the fun took place at a Hollywood pre-party. According to The Hill, Romo got chummy with Miles Teller, Nina Dobrev, and an NSYNC member that wasn’t Justin Timberlake:
Eric Podwall, Hollywood talent manager, hosted his third annual White House Correspondents’ Dinner party on Friday night. Tucked away in the Dupont Circle speakeasy The Sheppard, the intimate affair had a small group of Washingtonians rubbing elbows with Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo and his wife, Candace Crawford-Romo, along with “Glee” actor Matthew Morrison and wife, Renee, and singer JC Chasez of NSYNC fame.
Oh, and the Cowboys quarterback apparently morphed into DJ Romo late into the night to play some tunes that the NFL would certainly approve of:
The party raged until well after midnight, with Romo taking over the jukebox late in the evening and playing songs by Guns N’ Roses, Journey and Coldplay.
Coldplay, of course, is an obvious Romo go-to considering “Fix You” was the song of choice for his wedding video:
