A week after getting Bobby Knight to call him “the most prepared man in history” to become president, Donald Trump landed yet another Indiana sports great to endorse him — Lou Holtz.
Yes, the former Notre Dame coach released a video message to “wholeheartedly endorse” The Donald:
Honored to have received the endorsement of Lou Holtz – a great guy! #INPrimary #Trump2016 pic.twitter.com/AeGyODb37O

“Greetings, I’m Lou Holtz and I wholeheartedly endorse Donald Trump as the next president of the United States. There’s nothing but winners in Indiana. The main reason I’m endorsing him: I’ve played his golf course, I’ve stayed in his hotel — he does nothing but go first class in everything. He wants this country to be first class as well.”
Strong reasons, Lou. Strong reasons.
Fun sidenote:
Lou Holtz gave $2,300 to Hillary in 2008 before backing Trump. He hasn't contributed money this cycle. https://t.co/SXmb9dTMrJ
