Remember Eric Chavez? The guy was a superstar in the early 2000s with the Oakland A’s and a wizard over in the hot corner. One of my favorite players growing up. I think the last time I heard he was playing for the Yankees a couple of years ago and apparently now is an assistant with the Angels.
But that doesn’t matter because we need to get to this house he’s selling in Arizona. Of all the houses we’ve posted over the years here on BC, I think this one might be the most insane one I’ve seen. The backyard is like a dream backyard for every kid who loved sports. There’s a football field with a goal post, a batting cage, and a goddamn horse stable back there. I’m not even a big horse guy and I think that’s dope.
Sophisticated Santa Barbara estate by acclaimed builder Cal Christiansen and renowned architect Mark Candelaria set on nearly three acres. Stunning entry w/soaring ceiling, arches, groin vaults open a visual corridor through a magnificent living room through French doors to a lovely garden. Views continue from the front door to a captivating pool, spa, gazebo, bar, fireplace, fountains, and fire pit. Stone and wood floors throughout with four fireplaces inside, one out plus fire pit. Six bedrooms w/ensuite baths and walk-in closets. Romantic Master with fireplace has adjoining den. Master bath has his/her water closets, three spacious closets plus a hidden extra. Not to mention the pool area looks like something from a resort. All around this is an unbelievable house that needed 46 pictures just to do it justice for the gallery, and you can get it for only $5.9 million. That’s cheap for what you’re getting and compared to some of the other houses we’ve seen.
