Michigan’s Drake Johnson has already overcome two ACL tears in his collegiate career, but he’ll have to battle through another injury after a freak accident on Wednesday.
Per Detroit News, Johnson was stretching inside the school’s track and field building when he got run over by a forklift.
Johnson, who has twice endured anterior cruciate ligament knee tears, was involved in an accident at the indoor track and field building on Wednesday and has required medical attention, according to a Michigan statement released Thursday.
Some additional details on how someone could be run over by forklift:
I'm told Michigan RB Drake Johnson WAS seen at the hospital today. Guy who says he saw him said he was hit by forklift while stretching.

Guy said Johnson was "stretching with headphones and the forklift had something on it that was blocking their vision." #Michigan
