Baseball season is only a couple weeks old, but it looks like we already have a contender for sickest double play of the season.
During the sixth inning of tonight’s Royals-Astros game, Alcides Escobar robbed Marwin Gonzalez of a bloop single by making a ridiculous over-the-shoulder sliding catch, and topped off the play by firing the ball over to first base to nab two:
