Eagles Coach Doug Pederson Selling Kansas House

This is my favorite type of athlete real estate post: NFL assistant coach gets head coaching job and needs to sell off his assistant coaching house. Doug Pederson’s Kansas house has finally hit the market for $875,000. The new Philadelphia Eagles coach – 5-year contract, no financials that we know of (figure on at least $4M a year) – will be spending at least the next 2-3 years (Lurie couldn’t fire him faster than that, right?) in the Philadelphia market where he won’t be buying 6,000 sq ft at this price.
Don’t miss the deer mounts in Doug’s man cave. The guy hunts a little bit.
From Doug’s realtor:

SWEEPING VIEW OVER 6TH FAIRWAY! You won’t be disappointed w/ this fabulous & elegant home! Desirable floorplan, natural walnut flrs, gourmet granite kitchen w/island & open hearth. Enjoy watching golfers come up 6th fairway from your screened porch or large deck. Wrap around cabinets provide tons of storage! Natural stone baths. Plantation shutters, beautiful lower level family room w/bar, built ins, and walkout to patio and the golf course. Concrete tile roof, huge garage w/epoxy floors.

Make fun of the Plains and Midwest all you want, that’s a ton of house for $875k.

More highlights of Doug’s Kansas golf course pad:

• 6 beds, 6 baths
• The golf course clubhouse has all the amenities you’ll need; pool, place to socialize and drink, etc.
• The man cave needs to be have the estrogen sucked out of it. Doug led a pretty boring life in that cave.
• 4.4 miles to Whole Foods
• 22 miles to Bazookas Showgirls
Mortgage: $3,100 before taxes, country club fees and weekly landscaping
