The NFL offseason is obviously a brutal grind for a majority of the country, but at least it affords us the opportunity to discover random player factoids. For instance, Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers recently took to the “You Made It Weird” podcast with Pete Holmes to dish on the one time he encountered a UFO. Seriously, if you’re into conspiracy theories, today is your lucky day.
Rodgers claims he saw an object in the sky on a snowy (and overcast) February night in New Jersey. As for the details of the unidentified flying object, this is what he recalls:
It was a large orange, left-to-right-moving object. Because of the overcast nature of the night and the snow, you couldn’t make out… it was behind kind of the clouds we were seeing, but it was definitively large, in the night sky moving from left to right. Again, like 12:30 at night here. It was me, Steve, and his brother that saw it. And it goes out of sight and we look at each other and go, “What in the fuck was that?”
He then says that it disappeared for about 30 seconds before he heard the sound of fighter jets. You can listen to Rodgers go into full “X-Files” mode in the video below:
